From Solo to Squad

byFriday didn't start as an agency. It started as one person trying to create a better model, and realizing that great things aren't built alone.

It all began with an idea. Stephanie, byFriday's founder, had always known she wanted to be both a CEO and a stay-at-home mom. But that's not a thing, right? Well, Stephanie decided resolutely that if her dream scenario didn't exist, she'd create it herself. So she did. Just like that, byFriday was born.

It started small, with Stephanie taking on a few clients and handling whatever individual needs each one threw at her, all on her own. As Stephanie grew into her business, the work grew right along with her, and all of a sudden, it was a lot to handle by herself. She was doing it alone, but she didn't have to.

Along came Erin, another mom straddling the line between working full time and staying home with the kids. A home childcare provider whose work was interrupted by Covid, Erin was at a crossroads. Luckily, byFriday was expanding, and its changing needs aligned perfectly with her own. Stephanie and Erin worked so compatibly, they wondered how anyone new would ever fit with that same "just right" vibe.

Enter Amanda. Another incredible woman balancing work and motherhood, Amanda brought similarities in the ways that mattered, but often a different perspective, which rounded out the company and pushed its growth even further.

Finally, Kelly joined the team, a brand new mom ready for her next chapter. She couldn't have been a better fit.

In just a few short years, byFriday went from a solo operation to the dream team it is today. Four women, four different paths into motherhood and work, all landing in the same place at the same time for a reason.

And that's our story. Or at least the beginning of it.
